I was afraid to ask Caetano Rodrigues for more information about this artist and this LP. I made searches, sent e-mails and nobody could even say a word about it. I just spoke with Caetano to understand Sonia "La Unica - En Bossa (196?), for RCA Victor, Mexico.Who is Sonia "La Unica"? We know that she is from Mexico. Mexico is very well represented at Loronix with almost 600 visits from Mexican friends so far. We have a great chance of getting some info from Mexico; so if you are a friend from Mexico, please, feel free to tell us who is Sonia "La Unica".
The LP is great; Sonia sings Bossa Nova standards in Portuguese, English and Spanish with the accompaniment of Orquestra de Luiz Eca in all tracks. Another nice release that will get many friends by surprise. Once again, any information about Sonia "La Unica" is much appreciated by Caetano Rodrigues and zecalouro. Tracks include:
