Taiguara - Hoje (1969)

Several facts came to my attention in the last days to decide for this post, actually, I didn't realize how popular Taiguara was before we made the video challenge showing Copacabana beach with Taiguara singing in the background. It was the easiest Challenge ever and I was confident that nobody would guess it so quickly. The second fact was the last Sivuca & Rosinha de Valenca album recorded at Projeto Seis e Meia in Rio. I received a video showing Taiguara performing the song that titles this album at the same Project and the same Theater. All roads leads to Taiguara, let's see.

This is Taiguara - Hoje (1969), for Odeon. In spite of his successful career as a singer, Taiguara is also a composer, arranger and researcher on Latin and African music, mainly from his homeland, Uruguai. This is a self explanatory release and I'm confident will generate several comments, Taiguara fans are many.
