Varios Artistas - Guitar Workshop in Rio (1992)

With this high fever and body pain, I had to dig some pretty old and forgotten music to make things easier for today. The good new is that I found forgotten albums that are really good, such as this one. We have here the Brazilian edition of a JVC (probably a record label run by the Japanese Japan Victor Company) series of guitar workshops around the main countries in the world. Sounds interesting and it is very interest, let's see what we have here.

This is Guitar Workshop in Rio (1992), for JVC, featuring renowned Brazilian violao (acoustic guitar) players. I could not find detailed information on this workshop, but the music recorded here is amazing, delighting both musicians and fans of violao playing. Brazilian Guitar Ensemble is also a mystery as well the cover artwork. I was luck to find the one I made at that time and if someone has the original in high resolution, please, let us know. Tracks include:

The Performers

After listening «Mistura Fina» ¬ John Patitucci,
think we've found the bass player ...
It seems he had played a lot with João Bosco
