Sadao Watanabe - Elis (1989)

Hello, Good Evening! Great time spent today in Rio de Janeiro receiving some Loronix friends from Sao Paulo. Sunny day we are having, such like summertime. Let's start today with a contribution sent by the friends from Sao Paulo and highly recommended. Let's see.

This is Sadao Watanabe - Elis (1989), for BMG. Sadao Watanabe is a Japanese sax player with strong connections with the music from Brazil, releasing several albums dedicated to our country, most of them recorded here. This one is a perfect example, a tribute to Elis Regina featuring Cesar Camargo Mariano, Heitor TP, Paulinho Braga, Nico Assumpcao, Papeti and the most frequent Sadao Watanabe Brazilian collaborator, Toquinho as special guest on two tracks. I had a little time to hear this album and review it to Loronixers, but it is highly recommended by many reviewers and I cannot wait to take a second hearing. Tracks include:
