Trio Surdina & Leo Peracchi e Sua Orquestra - Ary Barroso (1953)

Sometimes we have things in front of us, close enough we can even touch, but for reasons we can't explain, we do not give a properly recognition and adequate importance to them. It happens all the time, in life. This is the case with this post. During several months, at a first sight, this was taken only as an old Trio Surdina 10-inch tribute to Ary Barroso. So you start making connections, JimR says that Leo Peracchi is one of the Brazilian Maestros that he likes most and Caetano Rodrigues also said something about it and them this little jewel gets the deserved importance.

This is Trio Surdina & Leo Peracchi e Sua Orquestra - Ary Barroso (1953), for Musidisc, featuring Trio Surdina, as Fafa Lemos (violin), Chiquinho do Acordeom (accordion) and the legendary Garoto (violao) and the might Maestro Leo Peracchi e Sua Orquestra. This amazing cover alone worth the admission price, and the music is great, fresh as it was recorded for the first time a couple of years ago. This is one of those you do not have to explain, just guide. Tracks include:

02 - Inquietação (Ary Barroso) - Trio Surdina
03 - Na Baixa do Sapateiro (Ary Barroso) - Trio Surdina
