If you were living in Brazil during the 70's, you will probably remember this samba show aired every Saturday by Joao Roberto Kelly, Rio da Samba. I'm not sure when it started and how long it lasts, but it is something that is part of that decade to me.
Joao Roberto Kelly is a great artist and this enterprise was really amazing, some sort of freak samba show that I could never watch something similar to it. Perhaps Brazilians remembers Kelly by this show, not for the great composer he is.
Anyway, this is Joao Roberto Kelly - Joao Roberto Kelly Apresenta Rio da Samba (1977), another fine release by the hands of the great and obscure contributor Mr. X.
