Eduardo Lobo - Eduardo Lobo em Bossa Nova (1963)

Mr. E. has confirmed that Luiz Roberto from Velha Guarda da Bossa Nova and Luiz Roberto from Os Cariocas are the same person. Great acquisition to Loronix. Flavio Samello should come more often to Rio de Janeiro, I got luck during his short stay. We are in the mood of the first recording of renowned artists and I feel in the obligation to show this first single.

This is Eduardo Lobo - Eduardo Lobo em Bossa Nova (1963), for Copacabana, the rare and sought after Edu Lobo first single with four non-LP tracks. Pretty self-explanatory release awaited by many Loronix friends. Tracks include:

01 - Alguem sob Medida
02 - Saudade so pra Mim
03 - Balancinho
04 - Amor de Ilusao

Elis Regina once said that her favorite composer was Edu Lobo. I Think her statement has a strong political sense. The remark of this occurred when she was able to choose what to do with a big amount of someone else's money. She choose to record with Jobim in 1974, in a moment when what we go here at the big Loro wasen´t being "vinyalised" as it was in the golden times. A gift of her record company after an amazing sequence of five high standard albums, since "Como e Porque" (1969) still "Elis 1973". This comment is just to make a bridge between those great sacred monsters of Brazilian music, in a sea of similars, the ones we are seeing here. And said thanks to Zeca, Caetano and all the Loronixers...

Zeca, some day I wanna see the album "Cantiga de Longe" Edu, Hermeto, Airto e Heraldo. I know you have it on the line.
