I was reluctant to show this album, I found it on a really bad condition, the cover was damaged and I had to praise the help of a friend to make it look better and the vinyl was scratch on a way that I had to decide keeping some hiss at the beginning of tracks in the benefit of loosing the sound quality. However, I think I'm making the right decision on sharing as it is. Irany Pinto is a brand new artist for me and probably for many friends and this cover artwork is one of those that worth the album alone.
This is Irany Pinto e Seu Conjunto - Meus Amores (1958), for Copacabana. Irany Pinto is a Brazilian violinist that had a great importance from the late 40's until the early 70's. He was member of the legendary Turma do Sereno, a group created by Paulo Tapajos with best of breed Brazilian musicians. Irany Pinto recorded more than 40 albums including 78rpms and LPs. Meus Amores is one of those themed albums made by Copacabana, Irany Pinto performs songs with names of girls and the cover artworks is strongly associated with the idea, showing a guy thinking on several others girls while talking with another. Really cool. tracks include:
