Fernando Lona - Cidadao do Mundo (1977)

I took this album for a hearing today with zeca and I got really amazed. I had to take zeca out of the room to make a focused hearing, it is not everyday you get hooked by something at the first time. Later I knew this is the first and only album by this artist, which is also a composer, director and actor. He is the author of Porta Estandarte (Geraldo Vandre / Fernando Lona), an anthological song that won the first prize at Festival Nacional de Musica Popular by TV Excelsior.

This is Fernando Lona - Cidadao do Mundo (1977), for Tapecar, featuring arrangements by Leo Peracchi and compositions by Fernando Lona. Cidadao do Mundo is listed among the one hundred essential Brazilian music albums listing, developed by the renowned Brazilian music researcher, Luiz Americo. You can visit Luiz Americo site to browse his listing of his one hundred essential albums here.
