Finally, Le Trio Camara makes his appearance at Loronix. Several requests were addressed for making this post. I had concerns regarding the commercial availability of this LP, since it was recently reissued outside of Brazil. I'm happy that I could check it with Loronixers two or three months agora and we got green light to show this incredible Samba Jazz music.
This is Le Trio Camara - Le Trio Camara (1968), for Saravah (France), featuring Edson Lobo (bass), Fernando Martins (piano) and Nelson Serra (drums). Introductions are not necessary with this anthological LP; several respectable people consider this record as the best Brazilian instrumental bossa already released. You should not miss it; I like very much this LP. Tracks include:
01 - Berimbau
02 - Nao Tem Solucao
03 - Bia
04 - Nascente
05 - Estrada Do Sol
06 - Upa Neguinho
07 - Feito De Ojacao
08 - Cheganca
09 - Noa Noa
10 - Muito A Vontade
11 - Samba Novo

Excellent album! Nice one mate!
Downloading it now.
thanks a million, I've been so curious about this!
I usually download just about everything. I downloaded this one a while ago but just got around to listening to it today. This is another one of those albums that you should run.....not walk to download. Its great. The following is not my words but from AMG:
A killer album of jazzy bossa grooves -- originally recorded in France in the early 70s, and darn hard to find in any format! The record was cut for the tiny Saravah label -- home to groovy French acts like Brigitte Fontaine and Areski, as well as an elite group of jazz and world musicians. The overall style is similar to bossa nova piano sessions coming out of Brazil in the 60s, but the groove is a lot freer, and the band has a nice rolling sound that might be compared to some of the MPS jazz/Brazilian crossover sessions. Fernando Martins is the pianist, and Edson Lobo is on bass. Titles include "Upa Neguinho", "Nascente", "Bia", "Noa Noa", "Samba Novo", "Berimbau", "Nao Tem Solucao", and "Muito A Vontade".
