We have now a nice Samba Jazz record and the first release at Loronix of the Brazilian Clarinetist Case with the LP Case e Seu Conjunto - Samba Irresistivel (1961), for Bervely, a second issue from the original by Hi-Fi Variety Hi-Fi (1960).Case is a well-known Brazilian clarinetist, unfortunately, biography and complimentary information about him is almost non-existent. Actually, the information available is contradictory, for instance: Case e Seu Conjunto personnel is Case, Amilton Godoy, Adilson Godói, Denise Dumont, Bill e Magrinho, but some sources says that musicians at this record session were Casé, Heraldo do Monte, Paulo Lima, Xu Vianna, Dirceu and Corisco.
I do not have a indication about the correct personnel listing, but if you take this LP you will see that this is a great album performed by grownups such like Corisco and Heraldo do Monte. Anyway, this is a minor detail taking in consideration the great music. Tracks include:
