Dorival Caymmi - Dorival Caymmi (1969)

Special mid-day post for the fans and new friends of Loronix that probably did not get along with the legendary Dorival Caymmi. This is a compilation issued by Imperial (Odeon subsidiary) with selected songs taken from previous Dorival Caymmi albums at Odeon, including a 78rpm tune, 08 - Peguei um Ita no Norte.

Such a nice video. What do they say before he sings? The lady seems to be sad, tells him to wait, but why? she seems to be so much in love.
and why does he look at the sea instead of her? a pity the video ends before the song's finished..
but still... a moment of pure pleasure

Before singing, Caymmi and the lady were talking about marriage and such other boring things. Caymmi asks her for marriage and she said it is too early for that.

Disturbing question, perhaps a lady that declines such offer does not deserve attention. It was wise of Caymmi to look at the sea, instead of her. I would make the same.
