Orquestra Pan American (Os Cariocas) - Samba Internacional (1959)

Hello, Good Evening! This is now the zecalouro all time favorite LP. He went nuts listening to it. It is a challenge to him listening to Os Cariocas using voice as instruments. Fantastic. zecalouro spent the whole day trying to do the same saying several pa-ra-pa-pa-pas. Tomorrow I will make it again. For the latecomers, it is not myself, I'm talking about the parrot, my pet, Loronix mascot.

This is Orquestra Pan American - Samba Internacional (1959), for Musidisc, another fine Orquestra Pan American (sometimes credited as Pan American Orchestra), which is Os Cariocas with some sisters of Severino Filho. Samba Internacional repeats the formula used on previous releases, nice cover artwork, repertoire selection, orchestra and Os Cariocas vocalization. Personnel is not credited this time. Tracks include:

- Apito no Samba (Luis Bandeira)
- Smoke Gets In Your Eyes (J. Kern / O. Harbach)
- Besame Mucho (Consuelo Velasquez)
- É Luxo Só (Ary Barroso / Luis Peixoto)
- Granada (Agustin Lara)
- What Is This Thing Called Love (Cole Porter)
- Blue Moon (Hart / Rodgers)
- Samba Maravilhoso (José Toledo / Jean Manzon)
- Solamente Una Vez (Agustin Lara)
- Chega de Saudade (Tom Jobim / Vinicius de Moraes)
- Over The Rainbow (Harold Arlen / E. Y. Harburg)
- La Cumparsita (M. Rodriguez / P. Contursi / E. Maroni)
